 Technical Skills

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required in the technical area:

·         Strong application development skills demonstrated by the ability in analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions using industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.

·         Java/J2EE application development experience (EJB, JMS, JDBC, SQL, XML, JSP, JMS, XML, XPath and XSLT) including Java Web Services and 1 or more Java frameworks (ex. Struts, Spring, Hibernate).

·         Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of Web Services including Web Services protocols such as SOAP and REST

·         Proven expertise developing with a SOA architecture (ex. IBM, Oracle, TIBCO, etc) and delivering solutions within a highly distributed or federated application architecture utilizing SOA design patterns.

·         Experience with Messaging, UDDI, Service Registry, and Service Repository.

·         Exposure to working with an ERP (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.).

·         Ability to quickly learn and adjust to changing technical environments.

·         Provide leadership in emerging technology, defining how to incorporate new tools and technical foundations into application development.

·         Expert working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio programs.

·         Knowledge of technical infrastructures and experience in architecture assessments and planning.

·         Knowledge of application integration methodologies, tools, and approaches

Requires strong technical  and communication skills to interact with the above teams directly and handle critical situations.

Years of Experience:  Total 5-7 Years IT Experience , of which  4-5 Years on Datastage.

Main activities include: User Support, User ticket Resolution, DataStage Trouble shooting, Data Issue resolution, DataStage Administration, Co-Ordinations with various teams like Admin team, ETL Team, Business etc., Batch Monitoring.
